Trócaire Hosts the Face of Resistance Exhibition
This Thursday October 10th, Powerscourt Centre are delighted to host The Face of Resistance exhibition. The exhibition will run for the month of October. The Face of Resistance is a photographic exhibition being held by Trócaire which focuses on celebrating the courage and determination of those both overseas and in Ireland, who have acted in support of a safer and cleaner world. The exhibition is part of Trócaire's Making a Killing campaign which is calling for an international treaty on Business and Human Rights to help protect communities from abuse. Across the world, both women and men are challenging the activities of big business. These activities often destroy lives, damage the environment and violate human rights. Creating a cleaner environment, improving lives and ensuring equal human rights for all are themes that will be seen across the exhibition. The Centre is proud to host such an inspiring and impactful exhibition. This event is free of charge and will be open to the public.
